Common MileLap questions
How does the 40-trip trial work?
Your first 40 qualifying trips are available before a paid subscription is required for continued premium access. The allowance is a one-time total based on trips rather than a fixed number of days.
What happens after the 40-trip trial?
MileLap continues recording new qualifying trips, but without a subscription those later trips are locked and excluded from reports.
Can I start a trip manually?
Yes. Manual tracking is available when you want direct control over when a trip begins.
Why does automatic tracking need location access?
Automatic mileage tracking relies on Android location and background activity so MileLap can monitor driving while you use other apps.
Where can I review a recorded trip?
Recorded trips can be reviewed in your MileLap history, where available details can include distance, route information, map details, and trip classification.
Where can I see subscription prices?
MileLap costs $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year after the 40-trip trial.
